COLOGNE- Lufthansa (LH) will deploy the Airbus A380 to San Francisco (SFO), Delhi (DEL), Bangkok (BKK), and Los Angeles (LAX) from Munich (MUC) for winter 2025-26. Lufthansa is expanding its Allegris cabin offering across key long-haul routes.
Passengers traveling on Lufthansa flights to New York (JFK, EWR), Chicago (ORD), Miami (MIA), Shanghai (PVG), Cape Town (CPT), Bengaluru (BLR), and Tokyo (NRT) can expect enhanced travel experiences with the new Allegris seating.
This marks the largest simultaneous deployment of Allegris-equipped flights since its launch.

Lufthansa Expanded Winter Flight Schedule
The Lufthansa Group has unveiled its expanded winter flight schedule for 2025-26, emphasizing stability, punctuality, and reliability.
Starting October 26, 2025, all airlines within the group, including Lufthansa (LH), Austrian Airlines (OS), SWISS (LX), Brussels Airlines (SN), Eurowings (EW), and Discover Airlines (4Y), are enhancing their route networks and introducing new services.
A central focus this season is the expansion of the Allegris cabin experience across more destinations than ever before.
Passengers flying with Lufthansa will enjoy Allegris in Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Classes on select long-haul routes from Munich (MUC).
Bengaluru (BLR), now served three times weekly, joins the list of cities benefiting from this premium upgrade.
The Airbus A350-900 remains a key aircraft type for Allegris roll-out, with 10 already in service during the winter season.
Over half a million passengers have experienced the new seats, giving near-perfect satisfaction ratings.
In 2025, Lufthansa plans to retrofit existing Boeing 747-8 aircraft and introduce Allegris on Boeing 787-9s operating out of Frankfurt (FRA).
Following successful summer introductions, high-demand routes such as Frankfurt (FRA) to Bydgoszcz (POL) and Munich (MUC) to Oradea (ROU) will continue into the winter schedule.

Lufthansa is reaffirming its commitment to customer demand by reintroducing the Airbus A380 on several key routes from Munich (MUC). These include:

Known for its spacious layout and onboard comfort, the A380 is highly popular among both passengers and crew.
These destinations will operate on a seasonal basis through winter 2025-26.
