Why the A350 to India?

The choice of the Airbus A350-900 for Indian routes reflects Emirates’ strategy to provide a superior travel experience while optimizing operational efficiency. The Boeing 777-200LRs currently operated by the airline are aging and the Indian market surely needs a significantly improved product offering.

The brand-new A350-900s makes it ideal for India-Dubai flights, which cater to a mix of business, leisure, and diaspora travelers. These A350-900 aircraft are more premium, featuring a three-class seating configuration on board.

Additionally, India remains one of Emirates’ largest and most vital markets, with over 170 weekly flights to nine destinations. The deployment of the A350-900 is a testament to the airline’s confidence in the growth potential of the India-UAE sector.
