DUBAI- Emirates (EK) will celebrate Oktoberfest across its flights to Germany and in lounges at Munich (MUC), Hamburg (HAM), Düsseldorf (DUS), and Frankfurt (FRA) between 20 September and 5 October 2025.
Passengers flying with Emirates (EK) will be treated to Bavarian-inspired meals, festive snacks, and traditional entertainment both onboard and in select airport lounges, bringing the spirit of Germany’s famous Oktoberfest festival to the skies and ground.

Emirates Oktoberfest Meals
Onboard Emirates flights, customers across all cabins will enjoy a wide range of Oktoberfest-themed dishes.
In the A380 Onboard Lounge, sandwiches such as Emmental with laugen bread, cream cheese with chives, roasted beef with gherkins, and chicken leberkäse rolls will be served alongside classic pretzels.
Pastries like plum cake, Black Forest cake, gingerbread cookies, cheesecake, and Krapfen filled with vanilla custard will also be available.
First Class passengers will experience a curated menu of fine Bavarian cuisine. Starters include poached Alaskan King crab or roasted pumpkin soup, followed by main courses such as chicken with mushroom dumplings and blanched broccolini or braised veal shank with roasted root vegetables.
Dessert options will feature Kaiserschmarren with plum compote or apple strudel with crème anglaise and berries. A new festive “movie snack” platter will include smoked turkey, beef salami, Obatzda, Emmental, egg, radish, cornichons, and pretzels.
In Business Class, menus will include duck liver terrine, braised veal shank, beef short ribs, red cabbage, and traditional Kaiser rolls. Desserts will feature baked cheesecake with blueberry compote or apple strudel topped with cinnamon cream.
Economy Class passengers will enjoy German potato salad or apple and raisin salad as starters, with hearty mains such as chicken sausage roll with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut or paprika chicken with broccoli and potato salad.
Desserts will include Black Forest cake with cherry compote. All travelers departing from Dubai (DXB) will also receive a complimentary gingerbread heart decorated for Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest Lounges Across Germany
In Emirates’ lounges at Munich (MUC), Frankfurt (FRA), Hamburg (HAM), and Düsseldorf (DUS), travelers will be welcomed with Bavarian delicacies.
Menus will include Käsepätzle with melted cheese and roasted onions, Wurstsalat, Obatzda with pretzels, chicken sausages with sauerkraut, and chicken thighs with Bavarian potato salad. To accompany the dishes, guests can enjoy Oktoberfest beer.

Entertainment in German Style
Emirates’ inflight entertainment system, ice, will feature a wide range of German-language content.
Travelers can choose from 22 German films, more than 350 dubbed Hollywood titles, and 31 playlists of German music. Highlights include films such as Köln 75, Ein Mädchen namens Willow, and Die Beste zum Schluss.
Routes and Frequency
Oktoberfest celebrations will be available on Emirates’ triple daily flights between Dubai (DXB) and Frankfurt (FRA), as well as double daily flights to Munich (MUC), Düsseldorf (DUS), and Hamburg (HAM).
